I'm Shelly, mother of three grown daughters and 'Granny' to six grandchildren, all aged eight and under who live close by. Lucky Granny! My daughters were home schooled so they took advantage of the time and space they had to explore all kinds of crafty endeavors. It became a lifestyle for our family. After my two oldest daughters graduated, I spent five years as a co-Founder and Director of a very successful charter school in my neighborhood. I've handed off that position and now I can spend more time with my grandkids, creating with fabric, and playing with Photoshop - three of my favorite pastimes!
Many of the beautiful designs you see at Swirled Peas are the creative work of my talented daughter, Marissa. Her digital designs were recently featured on the Today Show!

If you have any questions about any of our completely customized and personalized items, don't hesitate to ask! We're here to help you find just the right something for yourself or as a gift. Our number one goal is to design something uniquely for you and to bring Swirled Peas to your home!

Returns and exchanges
Once we have your customization info and payment is received, we will send you up to three proofs of your design. Once you approve your proof we will send your item to production. If we do not hear feedback about your design proof within three business days, we will assume you are happy with the design and begin production. At this point all sales become final. If, after receiving a proof, you decide to ask for a refund, Swirled Peas will retain $10 of the purchase price for the designing time invested. Items are dyed to order and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. We will edit your proof up to three times to make sure you are happy with your design.
Keep in mind that choosing colors using monitors is not an exact process. A color as shown on an electronic device may appear slightly different when dyed to fabric. Proofs viewed through Etsy Convos or on iPhones may appear more green than normal. Proofs are best viewed via email on a desktop or laptop computer. Send me your email address if you'd like to view your proof outside of Etsy Convo's.
