Homemade vents

Welcome to my playground of uniquely made items.

It all started when I wanted to solve the heat issue from my amplifier that was located in my home entertainment center. The glass doors locked in the heat and most of the times I had to leave the doors off. At the time, I had just learned to use a laser cutter and I designed a replacement glass; well, in this case, I used clear acrylic.

I got my measurements and created a vent design using bat patterns since I love bats. Once I had the final look and feel, I had the laser cutter do it's magic and replaced the glass with these new acrylic vents. It worked beautifully after I installed a fan on the backside to draw cool air in and blow the hot air out the front acrylic Bat vent panels.

I love creative solutions. I was hooked and I quickly became a fan of the laser cutter.

I had such a wonderful experience using the laser cutter that I started my own business and gradually I've been adding more equipment such as a 3D printer, scanners and a CNC machine and of course my own laser cutter.
