I started working with wood at a young age when I built my first race car in the cub scouts. Then years later I began making speaker boxes with my friends for our cars. I realized my interest in wood working and how I loved creating ideas and then watching them come together through measuring, cutting and glueing/nailing. Small budgets made true believers of measure twice and cut once. As I got older I moved onto house projects and gardening projects. My wife and I are pretty active gardeners so I built raised beds for us, that got attention from family. So, I built some for my mom. After hearing the same comment from my neighbors and friends; "Why don't you do this for a living?", I finally listened.
