Another gorgeous scarf! The color is a little more vibrant than the photo, and is incredibly elegant yet versatile enough to wear with anything. I purchased this a gift and the recipient was so delighted to not have a beautiful gift but one that has such thoughtful attention to detail being hand made.

This is a gorgeous scarf. Due to the packaging I was concerned that it may be tiny but it is as pictured. The material and feel is lovely and of course knowing that the pattern is created using nature's products makes it more special. I love it and I'm sure my friend will be happy too.

Two 70+ not-so-senior designers and nature lovers, simply not ready to rock back into retirement

TNR started quite simply: two 70+ years-young, not-so-senior women not quite ready to rock back into retirement. After a lifetime of raising loving families, and balancing careers in design and retail, two old friends found themselves in the same place—ready for a peaceful phase in life, but needing a new challenge to occupy an abundance of time.

Each passionate about design and nature, and with a sense of responsibility for the environment that we're passing on to our children and grandchildren, it started with a little experimentation in natural dyeing, became a fun hobby, and has now turned into a small family business.

At TNR, each and every item is hand made with love—for nature, for style, for people. Each item is made using a method called eco-printing, hand dying natural yarns with nature's colours—found flower petals and leaves, vegetables, spices, and other natural dyes.

We hope you enjoying wearing or gifting TNR designs as much as we enjoy making them.
