5 out of 5 starsThe pattern itself is very well explained and super beginner friendly. If I were to make it again, I would shorten the width of the apron, cause the sizing currently doesn't leave enough gap in the back to form an X shape to create enough tension to keep the straps from falling down and allow the apron to sit properly at the waist. So after sewing the apron, I had to spend some time thinking of a creative way to fix the problem without cutting the fabric (it's so big that the sides overlap in the back, even though I chose the right size)

The written instructions were clear, and the step-by-step photos were very helpful, but having the accompanying video made all the difference. I usually spend so much time searching YouTube to figure out steps in other patterns, so having everything explained by the pattern designer saved me a ton of time and made the whole process much less intimidating. This pattern also taught me several new sewing skills, and I felt confident following along from start to finish. I was able to complete the skirt in about four days while sewing during my child’s nap times, which felt like a huge accomplishment. I highly recommend this pattern, especially for beginners who appreciate detailed guidance!
