Hi! I'm Dean.
I am a creative soul.
My mind is a kaleidoscope of creative ideas, which is lovely, but it's a lot. No need to unpack that here, right?
My shop is an extension of my blog. I use to blog regularly. My friend Courtney and I hosted a weekly blog prompt called, That's What She Said. Courtney and I would scour books, interviews, and the internet for quotes by women, which catalyzed writing for bloggers. I loved it! When the weekly prompt ended, my quote collection did not. With an arsenal of quotes plus my love of art, a marriage of the two began on 11.11.17.
My life has immensely changed since I opened my shop. Focus has shifted. Moves happened. 2020 happened.
I concentrated on my art, and it gained traction. Commissioned art? Commissioned art, logo making, and brand building! Oh, life! Beautiful, humbling life. It can be hard (that's what she said), but it can also be sweet.
My shop has evolved, and so have I. I enjoy making digital prints, but this new path of sharing my art, logo making, and creating tangible goodies is exciting— a breath of fresh air. My inspiration comes from nature, my culture, music, and my spiritual journey. I have chosen a life of tranquility pero I am still that Chingona.

As a nature lover, I consider my environmental impact. My prints are digital, which means I do not overprint. However, from time to time, I print, and those become recycled art. Made-to-order items help with our environmental impact; all shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and journals fall under made-to-order. When I choose shirts and sweatshirts, I try to work with companies that are considerate of the planet. If the manufacturer does not use recycled materials, I will consider a brand that will last longer or has eco-friendly policies.
Unfortunately, I cannot be a part of the double-checking and packaging, which is insanely hard for me. Just like you, I get excited when you receive a tracking number. I am excited for my item to show up at your home. Okay, the truth is I get downright obsessive tracking packages because I have to know at all times where my orders are. It is hard for me to hand over the reins to a production company and shipment companies. I wish I could personally hand-deliver my items to you.
