I saw these stitch markers on Susan B Anderson's Instagram page and got the biggest kick out of them. She sent me the link and I am so happy I purchased them! I've been using them ever since I got them and love the reaction when people see teeth hanging from my work! Most people think they are real! Thanks for such a unique item that brings a smile to my face every time I use them!

I am just about to finish knitting my Arrows and Sparrows Amanda Kaffka Cowl with the help of this little Sheep yarn bowl.

About

a little Serendipity, a Lot of Happiness

How it all Started ~
My daughter, Amanda Kaffka, is a talented knitter/designer [ thecraftyjackalope.com] and I’m a potter who loves to knit and we are great friends (I know .....Lucky me) so we headed off together to the Seattle Vogue Knit Live in April (2013). A week before we left I had the idea to make a few shawl pins using my favourite fine porcelain and copper wire (I used to be a jeweler). I made up a handful of Pins and brought them to the conference just to see what might happen. We attended a great lecture about making a business in knitting by Trisha Malcolm, the Vogue Knitting magazine editor. After her talk, I went up to her with my little collection of pins just to ask her if she thought these were pursuing. Well, long story short. She was totally excited about them! Enthused, I got right to work in my pottery studio making Talking Pins, Pins that have uplifting, thoughtful messages. And Trisha Malcolm featured them in Vogue Knitting.
