I've always been interested in making and creating with my hands, and have a long history with wood turning.

My son got married in August 2022, and his wife-to-be asked me if I could help them create some unique, beautiful and meaningful decorations for the wedding. Together we made over 20 small wooden bud vases from wood grown in my village and harvested by me, which made the perfect centre pieces for their big day. The bud vases are still used today, shared out amongst close family to connect us to the memories of my son and DIL's beautiful wedding.

This re-sparked my love for wood turning, and I have since been keenly working on my craft. Each piece I make is from wood sourced within the UK, and 9 times out of 10 grown here too. They are all hand made by me in my small workshop in Northamptonshire, and I like to follow the whims and wants of each piece of wood, resulting in an eclectic and unique mix of pieces in my shop.
