Passion for crafting
Our journey began as a quiet hobby—crafting small leather goods in a corner of our home in Singapore, starting with simple wallets just for ourselves. What began with a few curious experiments slowly grew into Tauruscamp, a tiny family business fueled by our love for handmade leather goods. Over time, this passion blossomed organically, one stitch at a time, into something we couldn’t keep to ourselves.
From those early days, we created our original designs: the Base Wallet and Grain Wallet. The Base Wallet, with its clever fold and minimal stitching, offers understated function—holding cards, cash, and coins in perfect harmony. The Grain Wallet takes a different approach, showcasing the natural charm of full-grain vegetable-tanned Italian leather.
In our little Singapore studio, it’s just us—three people working side by side. No humming machines or assembly lines here, just the soft rhythm of hand tools and the scent of leather. Everything moves slowly in our space. We take our time with every cut, fold, and stitch, crafting each piece individually by hand with patience that can’t be rushed. It’s a small place, but it’s where our ideas come to life, one at a time.
