Are the images in the fortune teller teacups vinyl transfers?

No, they are not vinyl transfers, ceramic sublimation or heat cured. They are permanent and just like commercial tiles in restaurants or swimming pools they are tough and made to last.

Care instructions

* The images in your teacups are food safe and permanently fired on. They are dishwasher proof however we recommend hand wash only with regular dish cloth/sponge and hot soapy water. The reason being is that many of our teacups have either gold or silver rimming and therefore we do not recommend putting our teacups in a dishwasher, as it will damage any gold/silver work and cause it to fade. it won’t damage the images, just any metallic gold or silver.

* Please do not put your teacup in a microwave as many of our teacups have gold or silver details and it may cause damage to your microwave.

Are these teacups food safe to use or just for decorative purpose?

* All our teacups are food safe and they are permanent images both inside and outside of the teacup. These are the same as commercial crockery that you would see in restaurants and cafe’s.

* There are various sellers that are marketing fortune teller teacups as “decorative purpose only”, which means not useable for the purpose they are intended for, nor are the images permanent.

* Tea With Karin®™ teacups are made to be used on a daily basis, and not just sit pretty on the shelf.

So what is FREE shipping?

* Understanding Shipping: We strive to offer competitive prices. While shipping may appear 'free,' it's important to know that shipping costs are a real expense for small businesses. For example, shipping a teacup within Australia can cost upwards of $25 AUD. So now add international shipping to the equation. We've worked hard to balance these costs with our sale prices.

* Why Shipping Isn't Truly 'Free' (This applies to every shop stating FREE shipping): As a small business, we handle every aspect of our products, from design and creation to careful packaging and shipping. We've done our best to factor in shipping costs while still providing you with significant savings.
