Such beautiful craftsmanship! Wow, I love everything about this book. The style is amazing and the high quality paper, that was used, is perfect to draw on. If I could afford to buy another one, I would definitely do so. It also came carefully wrapped in foils and paper and with a leather bag to keep it safe in.

This journal is one of a kind - as Adam and Eve were one of a kind - it’s the unicorn 🦄of leather journals and an absolute masterpiece of workmanship🥰. I thought quite some time about it but there are hardly any adjectives that would do it justice. It is so precious that it came with its own leather pouch (that is in itself absolutely beautiful) and now I am in such an awe that I am not sure what deserves to be put in there. My journey to the amazing art of bookbinding...

TeoStudio is a book bindery specialized in luxury leather journals, old style bindings and lockable diaries. My studio is located in the beautiful city of Évora, Portugal , where I create surrounded by nature and history. My love for arts and crafts has been with me since I can remember. I grew up in a family of artists, surrounded by paintings and books.

I went to the university to study the conservation of medieval paintings and from there on, I got my Master in visual arts. I like to think of myself as an artist, as I’m passionate about art in many different forms and disciplines. It was in 2005 that I really discovered the universe of bookbinding and soon after, I dedicated myself to it completely. It is what truly makes me happy, to get up every day thinking on the beautiful books I will create.

My bookbinding style is influenced by the ephemeral quality of objects surrounding us and their passage through time. I love to work with old leather that shows the marks of a previous life, I also love to use in my bindings all kind of pieces with history that I collect. I am passionate about collecting art, books, historic materials and some other oddities... I love traveling and discovering flea markets all over the world.

At the moment I am trying to take a step forward and explore new sides of bookbinding - publishing, fine binding, papermaking and book arts. I also enjoy doing collaborations for artist books, theater or movie props and any kind of art project that would challenge my creativity so if you're interested, please drop me a line!

★ SHIPPING is made by registered priority mail, within 1-3 days from your purchase. Shipping custom made items depends on the period I complete the item, which is specified in each listing. I will send you a notification that your order was processed and inform you of the tracking number of your parcel.

★ ADDRESS: I ship with registered mail that requires signature, so if you wish me to ship this to your office please select that address during checkout.

★ DELIVERY TIME varies and depends solely on the post office so I can't give you an exact time frame. Sometimes unexpected delays may occur due to customs, holidays, etc. but generally for a parcel to reach you it should take around:

- Europe: 7-14 working days
- Everywhere else: 14-24 working days

★ Please consider that possible irregularities in the execution of items are considered a value of handmade works of art.

★ Leather is an uneven material by its nature. Its surface may have particularities that should be seen as signs of authenticity or of the manufacturing process. I generally treat leather for enhanced elasticity, resistance, surface appearance. These products (wax, oil, silicone) may have a specific smell in the beginning that generally vanishes with time.

★ I do my best to take realistic pictures, using daylight and computer processing so the photos are as similar as possible to the reality. However, it is obvious that slight differences will still exist.
