I was so inspired by God and His faithfulness to start this small business and I'm so glad I did!

A couple weeks ago, I wrote the verse, 1 Thess. 5:16-18 on my arm with the first letter of each word. I memorized that first in 2 days. Not long after that, I wrote, "idolize Jesus" on my arm. These little notes to myself were reminders to keep me focused on and close to Jesus. That's how Tethered Tattoos was born. I wanted to make temporary tattoos for people who want a constant reminder of what God is doing in their lives. It can be a specific verse or a phrase, whatever keeps you tethered to Jesus (John 15:4-5).
January 2020:
My story starts with listening to a couple sermons by pastor TD Jakes from The Potter's House in Dallas Texas. He spoke two weeks in a row about what Jesus says about the mustard seed. The first was from Matthew 17:20 when he talks about moving the mountain, and the next was from Luke 17:6 when he talks about the mulberry tree being uprooted. God had been speaking to me and teaching me about my emotions for a few months and spoke to me about the mulberry tree that needed to be uprooted out of my life. From this powerful encounter with God, I wanted some mustard seed jewelry.
I originally made a set of the mustard seed jewelry for myself because I couldn’t find the perfect look I wanted online (which was so surprising). I love the power in what Jesus says about the faith of just one mustard seed, but I personally wanted more than just one (let’s be honest, I typically have several mountains to move at any given time), so I filled the jars with as many as could fit. I wore them around and found that people were noticing them asking, “what’s inside,” more often when they were filled, allowing me to minister and share the incredible words of Jesus. I made a batch and gave them away to friends and family for Christmas in 2019, and the conversation of selling them online kept coming up. After so many people mentioning it, and lots of mental debate, and prayer, I decided to do it. My mission is to provide the reminder that FAITH WORKS. It’s how we please God, and with it, nothing is impossible. God bless!
