Color and Texture in Textiles

As a small child my mother taught me to sew. By the time I was a teenager, I was making my own clothing. I have always loved cloth...and majored in textile design at Rhode Island School of Design. I have spent my career weaving, and love the function and large canvas of rugweaving. The past few years I have been exploring other fiber techniques to express my love of nature. I work alone in my studio in Gulfport Florida when not hiking and camping our wonderful National Parks.
