The first year of freelance income is confusing in a very specific way: the money lands in your account, and none of it is really yours.
We built The 1099 Freelancer Tax Kit for that year. Most trackers add up your numbers and leave you to work out what they mean. This one reads what you enter and tells you what looks wrong or missing — 23 checks, running while you type.
What you'll find in this shop: spreadsheets and guides for US freelancers, written in plain English. Every changeable figure — mileage rates, the Social Security wage base, the standard deduction — links to the IRS or SSA page it came from, so you never have to take our word for it.
What you won't find: tax advice. We are not CPAs or Enrolled Agents, and nothing here replaces one. The tax content in the guide was independently fact-checked by an outside accountant before publication. That's a check on accuracy — not a professional opinion on your situation.
The1099Kit is run by Eveal studio, s. r. o., Slovakia.
