5 out of 5 starsVery sturdy pole set up, goes together easily. I wish the joiner between the poles wasn't solid, as it defeats the self watering description. I have drilled several holes thru it to let water pas thru It, which was easy to do. Otherwise, this pole is great!

Mary thank you so much for the feedback. We agree that including substrate would be nicer. For the last 5 years we did include substrate but we hit a tipping point with scaling up that made it difficult to keep up for our small business. We have been working with a company to design a machine that can pack the coco chips for us automatically. If they can pull it off it will allow us to provide the prepackaged substrate again in the future. We will reach back out at that time and let you know. Thank you again Mary - Happy growing

5 out of 5 starsHighly recommend this support pole system. Yes, it's pricey. But it works incredibly well for any plant you want/need to grow upwards! I purchased several sets of these, in largest size, last year from the website. My Philodendron Bloody Mary has grown so well on these, I wanted to get a few more to increase the height. I saw these on Etsy, on sale so the timing was perfect! I wish I could include more than one photo. But believe me when I say this support system is absolutely awesome. I've stuffed mine with a combination of chunky aroid mix with clumps of sphagnum moss throughout. Highly recommend!! Side note...my Bloody Mary is currently very close to being 5 ft tall. I'm growing her up to a height of 7 feet!

Thank you so much for the great review! We are so glad you are seeing the results. If you haven't tried using Mycorrhiza powder in your pole we highly recommend. Some of our philodendrons have enormous roots that wrap in and out of our supports. We are excited to know your thoughts on taking top cuts when you finally get around to it you will see how easy it is to prop your entire collection. A lot of customers take off the top segment and sell the top cut to pay for the support so it's an easy way to offset some of the cost. And if selling your cuttings isn't your thing you can just keep extending the supports until it hits your ceiling! Cheers
