5 out of 5 starsFrom the moment I saw this clock on Etsy, I knew that I had to get it. When it arrived last night, there was a rich quality about it from the packaging to the item itself. Care was obviously taken with instructions on how to make sure that I had set it up correctly. I was very pleased that my clock had met all of my expectations. The seller should be commended for all of the intricacies that went into making the clock a quality product for Etsy.

Custom and personalized orders
Personalization is free. If you would like a proof please request one in the order notes. There are no returns/exchanges on custom clocks. Any deviation from the listing photo is considered custom. Please proof read your personalization, we are not responsible for mistakes imputed by the customer. Some fonts can not be in all caps and some fonts have no lower case option. Customs will be done like the example if your request is not possible. If you’d like a different color, font, add a logo/image or special request please message us. If your custom clock is damaged in shipping a new clock of the same design will sent not a refund. If your mech isn’t working a new mech will be sent not a new clock.

We can add a gift note to the packing slip and remove the prices , if you request it.

Trouble Shooting
#1. Do not use heavy duty batteries. Do not use used-batteries.
#2. It may feel tight getting the battery in place. Try sliding the battery in left /flat/negative side first.
#3. To activate the mechanism - using the wheel on the back of the clock, rotate the hands three full 12 hour rotations.
#4. Setting the time by manually moving the hands can damage/break the mechanism. Please use the wheel on the back of the clock.
#5. If the hands are catching on each other gently pry the hands apart. It may take a few adjustments. The hands may touch and stop as they go around. Please bend them away from each other slightly. If the hands get stuck together later, it doesn’t mean the mech doesn’t work. You need to adjust them again.
Care instructions
Our clocks are not for outdoor use. We cannot accept a return for a clock that was placed outside and ruined by weather.
Blank vs No personalization requested
No personalization requested means the clock will come as pictured with all the wording you see on the clock in the listing photo. Joseph Tyler is our company name.
If you would like no wording on the clock please ask for it “BLANK no words” in the personalization area.
Add Personalize means we will remove the wording you see on the clock in the listing photo and replace it with your custom text, in the same font, same case, in the same location. If you would like something different please be specific In the order, or request a proof.
About 90% of our clocks have the option of Roman Numerals or Arabic/Regular numbers. please feel free to inquire.

Hand Style Options
Hand styles vary by size and a availability. They have to so they are proportional to the clock. The larger sized clocks require a counter balance to keep accurate time & move longer hands.

Roman Numeral 4 is wrong (IV or IIII)
IIII is called Clock makers 4. It goes back to sundials. There is an entire Roman legend about it involving Jupiter. Its the traditional way Roman numerals are typically displayed on a clock. 75% of Roman numeral clocks use clock makers 4, including Rolex and Cartier.
