Hi there! I’m a family man who traded the hustle and bustle of a big city for the quiet charm of small-town life, all to raise our newborn son.

As a former theme park chef, I’ve always had a passion for creating, whether it’s in the kitchen, the garden, or my workshop. Gardening and foraging for wild edibles are close to my heart—I even hold a wild foraging license! I’m also an avid fisherman and deeply dedicated to forest and animal conservation.

Hello and welcome. My name is Matt. I am a former theme park chef who had a dream to move to the mountains and get out of the city. I dreamed of a less stressed life and a farm.

After about 3 years of making a pros and cons list I made the move up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. North Georgia is now where I call home.

I work a 9 to 5 a few days a week, and the other days I am on my mini farm with my beautiful fiancé.

We grow what food we can, and every day we live and work for our future dreams.
