I'm rating this based on the amount of leather that I can use-to-price ratio - After sorting and cutting through the 5lbs. pile of scraps, I would say that I can effectively use about 35% - 45% of it. For me this time, it's not a good buy, but then again, it's always a lottery when I can't do a physical pick. Majority of the scraps were clicked very tightly and so there's really a small amount of material to work with, probably good for watch band loops. I make a good amount of watch straps, and I do use shell cordovan from a couple of tanneries and Horween and them are all great! All in all, this first buy from The Boot Leather Co. I would say is just okay. I might try and grab another one though and see if the next one is better. Either way, Thank you!

There's lots of color variety, and plenty of pieces that can be made into keychains. I look forward to making some interesting items out of this box.

I received a generous assortment of Hoween Shell Cordovan Chips with an array or smaller but very usable shapes and sizes, and plenty of longer, slender areas to work with. All great quality. Looking forward to many projects ahead! Thank you.
