Hi! My name is Katie and thank you for stopping by my shop. The Brighter Side is my outlet to share my crazy, extraordinary, and one of a kind life. This is a place, I hope, to inspire people to believe that every single day is a chance to be present in your child's life, try a new project that pushes you to the limit, and most of all live each day doing something that you love. I am a wife to, Andy, and we have three beautiful children that have absolutely fulfilled our lives in every way. Beside my full time job being, Mommy, I teach Art to 500 students, consider myself an athlete that works daily to be healthy, and a constant dreamer that finds beauty in everyday. I don't have a fancy workshop with all of my dream tools, but I do have real life experiences, resourcefulness, and a passion to create. Learning is a constant for me and I find inspiration all around me. I look at everyday as an opportunity to try something new or pushing myself to the limit. Life in my world with three children a husband, house to keep up, and a career to manage is a whirl-wind and I live it with a day to day attitude. But trading even a second of my life for the world is out of the questions, because it defines who I am. So I hope you find some joy and beauty in the items you see at The Brighter Side shop.
