The quarterly review deck, rebuilt from scratch every quarter. The budget tracker where somebody had hardcoded a total and nobody noticed for four months. The RACI where three people were accountable for the same thing, which is another way of saying nobody was.

Eventually I stopped rebuilding and started keeping the good versions. This shop is those versions, tidied up.

What that means in practice: every file here is one I use myself. The formulas are live, not pasted values. The instructions are written in plain English on a Read Me tab, because a template you have to reverse-engineer is not a template. And where a file makes a judgement - what counts as material, what counts as attrition, when a vacancy is really a vacancy - the
reasoning is written down, so you can disagree with it and change it. No fluff, no clip art, nothing that needs a subscription.
