Our Story
Ich habe es immer geliebt, zu basteln. Es begann in jungen Jahren mit Nähen. Ich habe das Nähen von meiner Großmutter gelernt. Als ich älter wurde, begann ich, Hundehalstücher für Familie und Freunde herzustellen. Daraus entwickelten sich Heizkissen, Untersetzer und mehr. Weihnachten 2022 bekam ich eine Schaltung geschenkt. Ich begann, mich in eine neue Art des Bastelns zu verlieben. Das Basteln von Karten wurde einfacher und das Herstellen von Aufklebern war einfach. Dann erfuhr ich von Bügelfolie und meine Welt war völlig aus dem Häuschen. Ich machte ein T-Shirt für ein Konzert und welche für Freunde. Ich bastle gern und möchte das, was ich mache, mit anderen teilen.
Als ich mich entschied, The Crafting Library zu gründen, fing alles mit einer Phase an. Ich dachte immer: Eine Crafters Library of Goods. Als begeisterte Leserin liebe ich es, Bücherregale mit Büchern zu füllen. Also dachte ich, The Crafting Library wäre perfekt. Der Laden ist meine Bibliothek mit Waren oder Kunsthandwerk. Viele der Dinge, die ich herstelle, kann man mit einem guten Buch genießen. Also schien einfach alles zu passen und die Reise war geboren.
Ich möchte mein Handwerk mit anderen teilen können. Das ist zwar nicht mein Vollzeitjob, aber ich liebe es, meine Leidenschaft mit anderen teilen zu können. Ich lebe mit meiner Collie Nadora in South Carolina. Sie ist die perfekte Assistentin und Inspiration für mein kleines Unternehmen.

I have always loved to make crafts. It started with sewing at a young age. I learned to sew from my grandmother. As I got older I began making dog bandanas for family and friends. That evolved to heating pads, coasters and more. Christmas 2022 I received a circuit as a gift. I begin to fall in love with a new form of crafting. Card making became easier, and stickers were easy to make. Then I learned about iron on vinyl and my world was blown away. I made a t-shirt for a concert and ones for friends. I enjoy crafting and want to share what I make with others.
When I decided to start The Crafting Library it all started with a Phase. I kept thinking, A Crafters Library of Goods. As an avid reader, I love filling bookshelves with books. So I thought The Crafting Library was perfect. The shop is my library of goods or crafts. Many of the things I make can be enjoyed with a good book. So It all just seemed to fit and the journey was born.
I want to be able to share my crafts with others. This is not my full-time job, but I love being able to share my passion with others. I live in South Carolina with my Collie Nadora. Who makes the perfect assistant and inspiration for my small business.
