When growing up, my grandfather inspired my interest in stones and he was a self proclaimed rock hound. His house and basement filled with rock specimens. I observed and learned; picking up tips and techniques for shaping and polishing stones, I was amazed how an ordinary Earth rock could be turned into something so beautiful, each and every time.
