Hello friends! I hope I get the chance to know you better and share this creative journey with you. I'm Katie, and this is The Felt Pod's journey.
I started on this wool felt business after making hair clips both for my girls to wear and to sell on Etsy. I wanted a quality supply that reflected the time and effort I put into making it. That's when I fell in love with wool felt and wanted to share this treasure with other crafters and Etsy makers.
Like many other Etsy sellers, I first started shipping orders out of our house. I took over one of the bedroom closets, then two, then an entire room, and finally moved to a warehouse. While our storage space has grown and I'm no longer a one-person operation, I still closely manage much of the day-to-day processing of orders, listings, creative design, and customer service. I pride myself on knowing some of you in this Etsy community and dare to call some customers that I've worked with for over 10 years a friend.
