The beginning of my journey!
Growing up my grandfather was a woodworker and built most of my furniture, that I still use today! While I didn't do a lot of work with him while he was alive, I was inspired later in life to begin my journey as a woodworker and follow in his footsteps. Everything I know has been self-taught through the magic of the internet, and trial / error. I began with building Halloween props of all things. (With a circular saw and a corded drill) Which inevitably then lead me to building furniture. My first piece was actually a shot glass display cabinet that I built my wife in secret for her birthday! (Boy, was she surprised!) From there I've built all kinds of things, from more elaborate Halloween and Christmas props to dressers and other pieces of furniture, to smaller projects such as bird feeders and wine carriers.
I officially started The Final Cut Woodworking in 2019, and from there have grown to be where I am today! Though I still work out of my 1 car garage, I hope to one day have a larger shop that I can call my own!
