From Idea to Creation
The Flow You Know started as just an idea when I was in college. I wrote it down on a little post it. Years later, when I was bored at my day job, I thought to start putting pen to paper and get help creating a business plan and pitch. Once that was done (shout out to SCORE Boston and Justin), I reached out to a web developer to help me create my e-commerce site. After months of going back and forth and seeing which postings looked good and how to format the site, I launched it. It flopped, and then I tried some interesting marketing tactics like social media posts and SEO. Those also did not succeed the way I wanted it to. Eventually I took down the e-commerce site and stuck to craft fairs. Those proved to be more successful. More recently, I created this Etsy site. Now, I post all my listings here and wait for the customer to come to me! I hope that sales begin to increase soon, and I can think of more ideas to get the word out about my products. Thanks for listening!
