Frequently asked questions

What are my rights if the product is faulty?

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your product is faulty, you have the right to a full refund if you contact me directly via the Etsy messaging or email within 30 days of receiving your item. After 30 days, you may be eligible for a repair or replacement.

What if the product doesn’t match the description?

If the product does not match the description provided in the listing, you are entitled to a full refund. Please contact me directly via Etsy Messaging or email within 30 days of receiving your item to arrange a return and refund. Please be aware that this does not include colours discrepancies (i.e the colour does not match exactly the real product). Refer to the item description for more details and the colour disclaimer.

How long should my product last?

Both handmade and 3rd party products are made to be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable amount of time, providing that care and usage instructions (where relevant) are followed. If your item does not meet these standards, please contact me via Etsy messaging or email to discuss a repair, replacement, or refund.

What should I do if my item is damaged or defective?

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me via Etsy messaging or email within 30 days for a full refund or replacement. Ensure you provide photos of the damage for our records.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes, you have the right to return an item within 14 days of receiving it if you change your mind. Please contact me via Etsy messaging or email for more detail. You will then have another 14 days to send the item back, once the return procedure starts. Please note that return postage costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

Are there any items that cannot be returned if I change my mind?

Custom-made or personalised items are not covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for returns if you change your mind. This includes items specifically tailored to your requirements. However, if the item is faulty or does not match the description, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

Postage & Delivery: What type of packaging do you use?

As an e-commerce business owner, I thrive to minimise the impact that my business has on the environment. Therefore, wherever possible, I will use recycled, recyclable, reusable, compostable or biodegradable packaging.

Postage & Delivery: Via which postal services will my order be sent?

All UK orders are sent via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. It may not be the fastest but I have found it to be the most reliable and the best value for money. When free postage is offered (see item details), postage is via the same Tracked 48 service.

All International orders are sent via the Tracked and Signed Royal Mail service when available. I can't calculate the international shipping cost until I receive the order as it depends on dimensions, weight and value. Therefore, I charge a "blanket" cost which covers the majority of the products I sell, and issue a refund or charge for any postage overage. Within reason and subject to change, I may waiver the difference if the actual cost was higher than what you paid.

Postage & Delivery: What should I do if my item hasn’t arrived or has been stolen from my safe place?

If your item hasn’t arrived within the expected delivery time, please contact me via Etsy messaging or email. I will investigate with the Royal Mail and update you on the status. If the item is lost, I will arrange a replacement or refund.

If you have designated a safe place for delivery and the item is stolen, unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible. However, we recommend checking with neighbours or around the delivery area. For future orders, consider using a more secure delivery location.

How do I make a complaint or contact you for support?

If you have a complaint, please contact me directly via Etsy messaging with your order number and details of the issue. We aim to resolve complaints promptly and efficiently. Providing detailed information helps us address your concern more effectively.

You can contact me through Etsy messaging for any support or inquiries. I aim to respond within 24 hours.
