It is funny how life and faith direct your path.
I held a high powered, high stress job in the Financial field for 21 years. While it was true I was making good money, it was for all practical purposes (and reasons that I cannot go into here) killing me.

When I left I was in a sense trying to find my identity again, because for a long time, I had to act, dress, behave and forced into a different personality. Don't get me wrong, I loved what I did. My customers were and still are my favorite part of my day and my first priority.

With the blessing of my sweet hubs, and the support of my family... I took a break from work. I focused on my family, myself and our health. Slowly ever so slowly, my creative conscious... glass is half full attitude..... be whom I am... have fun with life personality slowly began to re-emerge. No longer was I the beat down former square peg forced into a round hole minion.
I was me again...... I was a Phoenix.... I was regenerated, arising from the ashes of my former self, to find a new life and sense of self as I walked out into the sun!!.... and my favorite colors are purple and pink... ergo Fuschia.

My Etsy shop is MINE!.. I can let loose my creative side and do as I please. I can color outside the lines, I can run with scissors (although I won't because it is dangerous).. I can create.... things and stuff. I can do what I love and what is close to my heart. I want to create things that are useful, fun and mean something.
I am having fun, creating what I want ... when I want. Whatever you see in my shop can be either altered to your size, or I can create a special order just for you.. See something that you like, but want it a little different? Is it too big or too small? LIke the design but not the color?

I for one am tired of living in a one size fits all world. Air brushed magazine pictures, unrealistic images of whom society thinks we should be, who should be considered beautiful or handsome... Pshh. Forget that.
Male or Female... I want my shop to be one that you can come to and well, shop. My goal is to have a variety of different creations for you to look at and sat " Oh I MUST have that!", or "I need to get that for so-and-so" or "That is EXACTLY what I need and have been looking for".
