After leaving an incredibly stressful job in 2019, "The Growing Guy's Family Nursery," was born in 2020. As a husband and wife team, we weren't sure where any of this would go, but over the last few years, we have had so much fun growing what y'all love! My husband likes to say, "We sell them small so you can grow them tall!" :)
Small plants have several advantages: They're easier/safer/cheaper to ship, they aren't root-bound in their pots so they will grow healthier/faster for you, and they have cost us less so we can pass those savings on to you! We do sell young plants but we always make sure they are healthy, have an adequate root system, and will thrive with good care.
We may not have the large volume of plants that many big growers do, but my goal is to make up for that with the "personal touch" and excellent customer service.
I always tell each of my customers, you matter! I don't see you as a dollar sign and I don't take your support of our small business for granted. We could not do what we do if it weren't for you! You choosing our plants means more than I could ever express. We see you as an extended family and want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from us.
I do my best to offer helpful advice before and after purchases, take care when packaging, and try to respond to messages as quickly as possible. My goal is to make sure you have a smile on your face after working with us. :)
