A very lovely mug! The texture and coloring is so incredible that my kids are convinced it was made from a real dragon. The skull on the bottom is my favorite. I can’t wait to throw out my Rae Dunn and start a collection of mugs like this instead.

Hand-built Ceramics

I am an artist specializing in hand-built ceramic pottery and sculpture. I opened my Etsy shop years ago as a way to sell my mugs, but recently I have branched out into selling other items as well.
Each of my ceramic mugs are hand-built without the aid of a pottery wheel.
Much of the patterned ornamentation found on these mugs are impressions made by fossils, rocks, shells, or other interesting natural materials that I have found in the environment. Some textures are also created by tactile means, such as using my fingertips or simple tools, to portray these items as reminiscent of primal artifacts.
Built to handcraft imperfection, each piece has an authentic, made-by-human feel that should remind its user that art is not a custom of machine.
