I bought this pattern after reading the description. I thought it would be made with a lighter weight yarn to produce a light, summer weight blanket as described. The directions call for a #4 worsted weight yarn. No sure it won't be heavy, but, will use a #3 light yarn and hope I can maintain the proportions.

I'm here to share easy crochet patterns that are simple enough for beginners and fun for experts!

The Hyper Hook was born in 2021 after COVID hit and my 15 year career as a finance controller for a manufacturing company came to an end! I took a year to be with my two kiddos and spent much of my time crocheting. I knew my next step was to do what I love so I created The Hyper Hook. I want to share my patterns with the world. All of my patterns are easy enough for someone new to crochet. I love to create blankets and pillows and recently I've started creating sweaters and tops.

You may wonder where the name The Hyper Hook came from.....I mashed up the letters of my kids' names (Hynes and Piper) to get Hyper. Enjoy the patterns and let me know if you have any questions!
