Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit me and my shop. I hope you like what you see.
The Introverted Cat is a one-woman business operated by me, from my apartment, with the help of Lou and Snowpea- my two cats who oversee my work. They rarely have anything to say, so that makes it easy.
I began this shop in 2019 at the suggestion of friends and family. I began this little page by selling my hand-drawn, colorful portraits of women. Once my passion for these drawings waned, I began making handmade cards. I loved that until I didn't. Then, as the pandemic closed in on us, I chanced upon resin. From there I was catapulted into a brand-new world of discovery. From roughly 2020 until now, I followed this passion, creating resin jewelry, trays, coasters, and more. I am so proud of what I was able to accomplish during this time. Recently, however, my circumstances and interests have changed. This leads me to what The Introverted Cat is today.
My sole focus is now vintage. Recycling and re-using pre-loved goods with stories and character feels right for me and for our world. It brings me so much joy to continue the life cycle of clothes and decor that have stood the test of time.
I intend to bask in this endeavor as long as it holds my interest and devotion. And after that, I will go wherever my curiosity takes me.
