The inspiration for the Library Chair design came from a table my mother had which had bookshelves all around it.

We make The Library Chair one by one to order in Brooklyn NY. We can customize it in any way you like. Variations in fabric for the upholstery are available or you can purchase your own fabric and send it to me, for which we will discount the retail price by $50.

Other customizations are your choice. For example a parents group at a school wanted to donate a chair in loving memory of the english teacher who had passed away. So they asked to me put a bronze plaque on the top of the chair commemorating him.
