Announcement The Pattern Source specializes in "Out-Of-Print" (OOP), and vintage patterns. Many hard to find current issue patterns are here too.

"International Customers" you asked for it and now I got your shipping deal! As of 12/15/2020 we have found cheaper shipping for all International customers! All orders under 8 ozs can ship for $9.00 to Canada and $11.00 everywhere else! Over 8 ozs but under "1 pounds" ship for $11.00 to Canada and $16.00 to everywhere else! You would then pay more after each additional pound of merchandise. Now you can purchase multiple patterns without outrageous shipping charges. If the fees on your invoice are more than quoted above I will refund the overage at the time I ship! No need to even tell me I will do it automatically for you.

If you want to know exact shipping costs prior to buying email me the pattern numbers you are considering purchasing and I will give you a quote. Shipping price is determined by weigh of patterns not quantity. Some patterns barely weigh 2 ounces, some weigh more than 6 if the pattern has a lot of pieces. I have to weigh then to give an exact quote.

Turning clutter into a business!

I have been selling items online at various venues for many years but I decided to start selling sewing patterns exclusively because I had become an overly zealous collector of sorts. I have been collecting contemporary sewing patterns since the early 90's after moving to Atlanta and about two years ago I decided it was time I started selling most of them because I wasn't ever going to use the vast amount of patterns I had collected. So this business was born out of the necessity for me to thin out my stash.

I came to love vintage patterns for my own personal needs. The things I was seeing in the pattern books just looked a bit too trendy and young, lacking the style and sophistication of the clothes of decades past. So I began to pick up a few here and there until I had a hoard of those too!

I do love fashion, but a girl has to draw the line when she has no more room for her shoes and bags! So I decided to sell online at Etsy and I haven't looked back since.

I think every pattern has a person looking for it and I'm trying to bring you two together!
