I'm Christa - I am a dog loving, art obsessed, plant passionate, board game playing, world traveling, coffee drinking, potty-mouthed, nasty woman from the beautiful state of New York. I'm a pro-inclusivity, pro-black, pro-lgbt, pro-choice, pro-women, crabby feminist killjoy with a touch too much anxiety to tell you you got my coffee order wrong, but enough self-assurance to call out your racist uncle.

Oh, and I make art.

I've been making art for as long as I can remember, and I've spent my early adulthood trying to find ways to put that creativity and skill to good use. I wanted to draw. I wanted to make money doing it. But most importantly, I wanted what I made to matter - to make others feel loved, valued and empowered in a world where they are often shouted down by those in power.

So I landed on this. Designs that incorporated my passion for politics, feminism, social justice issues and mental health. It's an odd niche, I'll admit. But if I can't make art that makes an impact - what's the point?

I do this as an outlet, as a hobby. Sometimes as a direct response to assaults on the American people by the presidency... but I digress.
