All items excluding seconds will be packaged in a gift box or reuseable cotton gift bag.

Gift wrapping is available to purchase at the checkout. This includes the gift box wrapped in tissue paper, cotton twine bow and gift tag. We are able to offer to write a small hand written message on the tag for you if you wish. Please put your note (max 15 words) in the 'note to seller' box at the checkout.

Messages left without the purchase of the gift wrap will not be included in the package.

Gift wrap is nonrefundable on returned items unless the item has been received as faulty.

To prolong the life of your jewellery, please do not sleep, bathe, shower, exercise or swim in your jewellery as this may damage it.

Please be gentle with your handmade jewellery.

Air will tarnish all brass, silver plated, sterling silver and gold plated jewellery, so storing it correctly is a must. You can use a air tight container or sealed bag for this. Perfume will also tarnish and damage the plating on your jewellery, so try to avoid direct contact.

To prolong the life of plated jewellery, please DO NOT GET WATER on your jewellery at all as this will damage the plating. If your brass jewellery has started to tarnish and you would like it shiny again, you can rub a little brasso on it.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receipt. I am happy to exchange your item or, in the case of faulty items, offer a refund. Earrings can not be returned due to hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.

Please be aware that you will be responsible for return shipping charges and must be sent by recorded delivery to ensure a safe arrival. All items must be sent back in complete original condition with original packaging.

The Free Shipping offer is available with all UK and International orders. This means that shipping is included in the price you see on the listing.

For the UK, this includes 2nd Class Royal Mail delivery. If you wish, upgrades are available at the checkout.

For International shipping, this includes International Standard shipping by Royal Mail. This does NOT include tracking. If you wish to upgrade to tracked shipping, this is available as an upgrade at the checkout.

If you would like to request a custom order, please contact us via Etsy EM or email theprettyditty@gmail.com and we will try our best to meet your needs. Custom items will be made in to a Custom Listing and will need to be purchased before your item is made and shipped.

Adjustable items such as rings and bracelets are made to to altered gently and without force. Please adjust your item to your required size once only. Regular adjusting could result in your jewellery getting misshapen or broken.

We are unable to refund, replace or exchange adjustable items if they are misshaped or broken.

If you need to return your order and have used the Free shipping offer when purchasing, for UK orders, the fee of £2.50 will be deducted from your refund to cover the original postage and packaging.

For US orders using the Free shipping offer, a total amount of £6.00 plus 10% of your order will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of the original shipping, packaging and customs fees.

For all other international orders, using the Free shipping offer, the fee of £6 will be deducted from your refund to cover original postage and packaging.

Upgraded shipping options are also non-refundable.
