I'm Laura a special needs education assistant, coming along for the ride with me is Bonnie my 10-year-old (almost 11! 🐾) flat-coated retriever, we're from Perth, WA. Like most families have, I came into the role of obligatory go-to person for all things birthdays, special holidays, and celebrations, also known for my craft-filled babysitting days or girls’ nights. Most days however, you'll find me in the classroom where my heart in Special Needs Education truly belongs. On the days in between I’m planning the next classroom bulletin board or trying to find space for my latest project… or three 🙌🏼
Having worked across Kindergarten to Year 6, I’ve seen firsthand how the right classroom environment can make a huge impact on each student academic, behavioural and social emotional development. While creating these printable's, I’ve been intentional about designing resources that help students feel seen the moment they walk into the room. Building confidence, engagement, and motivation, while also bringing ease and peace of mind to you ✨
What started as creating a few classroom decor pieces for friends as a hobby has somehow led us right here! along with plenty of “You finally made a TPT!” Messages for encouragement.
