Nuestra historia: preservando el sabor filipino, una camisa a la vez
Todo empezó con una idea sencilla: ¿qué pasaría si pudiéramos usar nuestro ulam favorito?
Crecimos rodeados del aroma del sinigang cocinándose a fuego lento en una tarde lluviosa, del sisig chisporroteando en la mesa y del kare-kare compartido en las reuniones familiares. Estos platos no eran solo comida, eran historias. Historias de nuestros abuelos cocinando por instinto, de recetas transmitidas de memoria, no de medidas.
Pero a medida que el mundo se volvió más rápido y digital, nos dimos cuenta de algo desgarrador: muchas de estas recetas, y sus historias, se están desvaneciendo poco a poco. Las notas manuscritas, los secretos de cocina, las tradiciones dominicales... están cayendo en el olvido.
Así que decidimos hacer algo al respecto.
Nació The Projects PH: Colección de Comida Filipina: una forma creativa de preservar nuestro patrimonio culinario al convertir recetas filipinas en arte para vestir. Cada camiseta lleva un pedazo de nuestra identidad: la calidez del hogar, las risas en la mesa, el orgullo de ser filipinos.
Cada diseño celebra los platillos que nos criaron —sinigang, adobo, taho, lumpia y más— transformados en ropa urbana moderna que conecta a los filipinos de todo el mundo. Ya sea que estés en Manila, Dubái, Nueva York o Tokio, usar estas camisetas es como decir: "Recuerdo de dónde vengo".
Nuestro sueño es simple pero profundamente arraigado:

Our Story: Preserving Filipino Flavor, One Shirt at a Time
It all started with a simple idea — what if we could wear our favorite ulam?
We grew up surrounded by the smell of sinigang simmering on a rainy afternoon, sisig sizzling on the table, and kare-kare shared during family gatherings. These dishes weren’t just food — they were stories. Stories of our grandparents cooking by instinct, of recipes passed down through memory, not measurements.
But as the world became faster and more digital, we realized something heartbreaking — many of these recipes, and the stories behind them, are slowly fading. The handwritten notes, the kitchen secrets, the Sunday traditions — they’re being forgotten.
So we decided to do something about it.
The Projects PH: Filipino Food Collection was born — a creative way to preserve our culinary heritage by turning Filipino recipes into wearable art. Each shirt carries a piece of our identity: the warmth of home, the laughter around the table, the pride of being Pinoy.
