Absolutely love the fabric! Even more gorgeous in person and it's softer than I had expected! even received a small sample of another computer themed fabric and it was so adorably wrapped with some twine, will definitely be ordering more in the future :)

About

I LOVE fabric and if you are looking at my shop you LOVE it too!!!

Fabric is such a beautiful tactile medium for so many different types of projects! Even when quilters buy the exact same fabrics to make the same pattern, each and every one of their projects will look different, whether it is the placement of a certain print or the change in sizes of pieces or how they chose to quilt and bind it, They become individual works of ART!!! Our quilts are our LEGACY of who we were, who we are at this moment and who we will become. When it is finished into a useable form, from Mug Rugs to King Size quilts, it represents us as individuals and our love for the creation!

Often, quilts are made to commemorate a special moment for someone else and they become an ongoing blessing with a lot of love attached.

I have a quilt my Mammaw made for me when I graduated from High School. She made my cousin and my sisters each quilts from hexagons sewn together by hand into flower gardens and then hand quilted each top. Even though they used the same size piece and idea because of different fabrics they are very different. They are her works of Art and LOVE !! She included fabric from our clothes when we were growing up in all these quilts so they are individual time capsules. They have memories viewing the fabrics and are true treasures for our hearts.

I hope I have introduced myself and my love for quilting and sewing! I hope that you will find some inspiration for your ART in my shop! All yardage is based on my concept of the " TRUE YARD" with an extra couple of inches for straightening the grain. Happy Sewing, Melody
