From engagement to ring making.
I made my first coin ring because I wanted a special handmade engagement ring (my girl is very special, store bought just won't do). I managed to create a smooth silver ring with a hammer, a silver coin, and a lot of patience.
Seeing people admire this ring sparked my interest. I decided to try to make a coin ring without ruining the coin's details. It took some trial and error, some failed attempts, and a bit of frustration, but I finally got my first double-sided coin ring. After showing it to a few friends, one of them convinced me that I should make them available on Etsy. So here they are, for your viewing (and purchasing) pleasure.
I have been perfecting my ring making craft for over 15 years. I have since grown to include bentwood rings with a variety of inlays, specialized bottle openers, and a collection of coaster designs that range chic to geek.
I'm confident that the quality of our work and the uniqueness of our products truly sets us apart.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get a state quarter ring in a different year?
Unfortunately, the state quarters were each only minted one time. They are only available in the year that they were minted.
Can I get a ring made from my own coin?
Absolutely. However, there are some limitations: size, type of metal, and design are all crucial. We can give you a good idea of whether or not it will work, if you let us know which coin you have and what ring size you will need.
Are the quarter rings available in sizes larger than 9.5?
Unfortunately, the quarters will only work well for smaller ring sizes. The largest that they can be safely stretched is a size 9.5. Trying to stretch the metal further usually causes the metal to fail (warping or splitting).
What is the best way to measure my ring size?
The best way to get your ring size is to visit a jeweler. They should provide sizing services free of charge. Keep in mind that ring sizes can fluctuate around half a size throughout the day and possibly more between seasons. It’s a good idea to take your measurement a few times to find the most accurate fit.
Will the ring turn my finger green?
Maybe. It depends on your skin type as well as the type of metal used in the coin. Most of our non-precious metal coin rings are coated in a sealant that will help for a time, but due to the wear and tear that rings go through, this coating will eventually wear off. If you have sensitive skin we recommend having the ring made from a silver proof coin.
How long will the protective coating last?
It depends entirely on how well the ring is cared for.
Can my ring be resealed if the coating is coming off?
It can easily be resealed at any time. We recommend a product called ProtectAClear.
Is there an easy way to remove the ring’s sealant?
The sealant can be removed with Denatured Alcohol.
How do the magnetic bottle openers mount to the wall?
They are designed to be mounted either magnetically to a fridge or to a wall using provided screws. If mounting to the wall, the opener should preferably be mounted to a stud. The opener can be mounted to drywall if the proper anchors are used (not included).
