If there's an item you see (or would like to see) in my shop and you would like to Customize it, convo me! Necklaces and Key Rings/Bag Tags can be customized in many ways! Nickel pendants can be made longer to fit large words. I would love to work with you to create something special just for you!
On custom pieces, please be as specific as possible and please check spelling and number placement when ordering. I cannot accept any returns on custom orders that are due to ordering mistakes. If there is a personalization mistake on my part, please contact me and I will replace the item.
I have been asked many times if I can stamp on the backs of pieces. I do not stamp on the back of any piece because stamping on the back can mar the front.

All complete Necklaces, Bracelets, Key Chains and Dog Tags from The Run Home are hand crafted then zipped into a heavy polyethylene zip lock bag, placed in a cotton lined black jewelry box tied with a cute silver bow then placed in a cardboard box for safe shipping. The Run Home's Ornaments also come with a black jewelry box. Sterling Silver and Nickel Silver complete Necklace, Key Chain/Bag Tag or Bracelet purchases will arrive with a sample Sunshine Polishing Cloth tucked inside the zip lock bag. Individual purchases of Chains, Charms or Pendants will arrive in a small organza bag shipped inside a manila bubble mailer. Your order from The Run Home will also arrive with no invoice or receipt in the box, making it ready for gift giving!

Each Sterling Silver and Nickel Silver piece comes in a polyethylene bag with a small sample Sunshine Polishing Cloth. To remove light dirt, fingerprints or make-up, simply rinse with water, dry thoroughly with any cotton cloth (towel or t-shirt) then rub the dry jewelry with the Sunshine Cloth to polish and shine.
For quick cleanups, simply rub the jewelry with the Sunshine Cloth.
When not wearing your jewelry, make sure it is completely dry, then store it with the polishing cloth in the bag it arrived in.
Keep bag sealed until the next time you plan on wearing your jewelry again.

How to care for Sterling Silver:
Sterling Silver will tarnish over time. Exposure to air and lack of use make the conditions perfect for tarnishing. Sterling Silver Jewelry items should be worn often. Natural wear will give it a beautiful patina and it will also minimize tarnishing. When you are not wearing your item from The Run Home, store it in the Ziplock bag it arrived in to lock out the air. Sterling Silver pieces will all arrive with a 3M Anti Tarnish Tab to minimize tarnish. When tarnish does begin to develop, gently rub the dry Sterling Silver piece with the sample Sunshine Polishing Cloth provided to restore the natural shine!

How to care for Nickel Silver Jewelry:
Nickel Silver (sometimes referred to as German Silver) does not rust or tarnish. However, over time it can look dingy and form a green patina (owing to its copper content). To brighten up your Nickel Silver Pendant, simply rub the dry Nickel Silver piece with the sample Sunshine Polishing Cloth provided or with any dry cotton fabric. Please note Sunshine Polish Cloth sample is included with all Nickel Silver Complete Jewelry/Key Ring purchases but is not included with individual Nickel Silver Charm purchases.

How to care for Microfiber Suede Lace:
This "suede" is actually made from specially treated microfibers -- it will NOT crack, weather, or smell. It looks just like leather, only better! It lasts longer, and it's cruelty free!
To wash your new Microfiber Suede, please remove your nickel or pewter pendant from the microfiber wrap then hand wash in warm. soapy water. Let it air dry. Enjoy for years to come!

No. Pewter pieces cannot be Customized or Altered. I have designed and created all of The Run Home's Pewter pieces to arrive AS IS. If you purchase a Pewter piece and request Customization, your piece will be created with Hand Hammered Nickel Silver, will be Hand Stamped and will arrive on Gunmetal Chain or Stainless Key Ring.
