We're back!

We're very pleased to announce that operations here at The Rusted Desert have resumed, and our work is once again available for purchase here on Etsy! Items should be quickly appearing on our page and back into your search results over the next few days. And, as always, custom work is just a message away.

A few things to note:

- Our rusting process has improved during our hiatus: We've always aimed to create rich color AND durable longevity in our rusting process, but with some experimenting and deliberation, we've found that a slower, more natural method is best to create the results we believe our customers will reap the most joy from. This process takes longer than our previous approach, but a meager day or two of extra fabrication work can create years of prolonged life in a piece. This new change primarily affects the handling times of our clear coated and rusted pieces, but we're always doing our best to stagger preparations of pieces in a way that allows us to ship as quickly as possible.

- Quality and resultant customer satisfaction continue to be our chief priority: A brief look at our product descriptions should hopefully give a good idea as to this focus in our work, but we always want to make clear that our aim at the Rusted Desert is to provide high-quality, durable, American-made metal art. From our choice to use the highest durability clear coats, to the rusting process changes outlined above, it's our goal to maximize efficiency in providing top quality in as timely a manner as possible.

If you've been with us from the beginning, or are just seeing our work for the first time now, we'd first like to say thank you for your interest in our work. We have so many great customers like yourself that have made it possible, and continue to make it possible for us to do what we love: create joy and help people creatively enhance their indoor and outdoor spaces.
