I am so glad that I decided to purchase this clock. It is beautiful in its simplicity. I chose the Natural finish, and the grain of the wood used for my clock has a vertical pattern to it. The color is primarily grey with a yellow undertone. The way that this piece of wood has been sanded smooth and finished makes it so striking. It works really well with the rustic-contemporary style of my house.

Chad is a true artist. Whereas you might go into a gallery and buy, on canvas, a modern design like this one for two or three times the price, Chad makes his creation for a fraction of the price - and out of wood. This gives it a texture, charm and added dimensionality one cannot achieve on canvas. And it also means that a whole lot more work and materials goes into it: Chad's art is at the same time both painting and sculpture. And he delivers stellar craftsmanship and a keen design aesthetic at truly a bargain basement price. In all honesty it would not surprise me if a gallery wanted to take on his work and charge many multiples of the prices here.
