My decorating inspiration. Whitewashed brick, leafy greens and neutrals are a perfect backdrop for the items I sell.
My stock changes often but you'll almost always find mid-century modern items. Great colors and durability are key!

Hello! My name is Liz and my passion is junking! I'm a science nerd with a B.S. in Marine Science who married a soldier and traveled the US to eventually reside in MD. My love for vintage style and decorating started with the purchase of a 1928 fire engine red Corona Four typewriter and I've never looked back.

I shamelessly hoard vintage Christmas, typewriters, and paint by numbers and drive my husband nuts by redecorating constantly. Some of my favorite spots to shop are estate sales and Renniger's in Adamstown, PA when I'm visiting my home state.

The Rusty Typewriter started out with a booth in Augusta, Georgia when we were living there, but I wanted to make my finds available to anyone in the US. Thus, the Etsy shop was born! My goal is to offer you interesting, unique, and, affordable vintage goods. I'd like to help you find the piece that becomes the perfect showstopper in your home!
