These are probably some of the best pieces of jewelry I’ve ever purchased on Etsy in my life. The quality is astonishing. The seller was very accommodating and even communicated with me over email to help me pick the perfect size chain and the perfect piece that I wanted for the jewelry. The Salty Shell

Welcome to The Salty Shell, your online source of ocean inspired jewelry. The Salty Shell was opened the end of 2012 by me, Beth. Growing up in a coastal town, I've always loved everything relating to the shore. For years I have been looking for the perfect shell earrings and when I couldn't find them, I decided to make them, and then sell them to others looking for cute, nautical themed jewelry. Thus, The Salty Shell opened in November of 2012. In 2015, I moved to the Daytona Beach Shores area in Florida where I've expanded The Salty Shell with "The Luxury Line" that debuted in 2017, and the "Summer" Collection" in 2018. I'm constantly playing around with gemstones, and shells to create fabulous, bohemian looks for the salty goddess in us all!

Wholesale availability

We do sell wholesale! If this is something you would be interested in please send me a direct message with your needs. Wholesale discount pricing is only available on orders of over 15 of the same item.

Care instructions

-Remove jewelry before bathing or cleaning
-Clean ear wire regularly with lukewarm soapy water and a dishcloth
-Use a jewelry polishing cloth for the best results, especially with sterling silver earwire

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every piece of jewelry will come in a gift box with a sliced shell as a little keepsake for you. Jewelry Sets are packaged together. Every order also comes with an invoice, unless it is marked as a gift.

Custom and personalized orders

Please send me a message if you would like a custom or personalized order, and what you have in mind. I have a few options for personalization.

Can you make my shells into custom jewelry?

When we drill holes into the shells sometimes they unfortunately crack or shatter. Most of the shells buyers want to send in have sentimental value and we do not feel comfortable working on them as they can easily break.
