Here at the Smiling Monkey Shop we are all for moments of happiness seized back from our relentless modern lives. In an age of emails, social media and instant acknowledgements, many have never experienced the joy of reading a handwritten letter over a mug of tea or coffee. Never had the glee-like feeling of plucking a beautiful personal letter from amidst the bills and ominous brown envelopes in the mail.
Ickle and I would like to help change all that and hope our stationery sets inspire people to pick up a pen, pencil, crayon or quill and send some love, friendship, gossip and laughter to someone you know. You never know, they might even write back...especially if you tell them where they might get some fabulous writing paper of their own!

Shipping
After payment is received, I will print out your invoice and prepare your order within 1-3 business days. I will try to process orders as soon as they come in and ship the following day whenever possible. All orders are shipped via First Class Mail. If you need an item shipped faster, please email me and I will send you an invoice with Priority Mail shipping price.
First Class Mail takes between 1-2 business days to reach you in the U.K. For International Orders, I ship via Royal Mail First Class International AirMail which usually takes between 5-7 business days.
My store is set up for you to combine shipping and receive a nice shipping discount. I charge a very reasonable low price for shipping individual and multiple sales.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS AND INCREASED BORDER SECURITY: Due to the increased border security, I have heard some customers are experiencing a 4 - 6 week delay in receiving their packages from other sellers. So far this hasn't happened with my sales, but please bear in mind when ordering. Unfortunately, this is completely out of every seller's control. Please be patient with your Customs Dept.
