Hi! My name is Alicia, I'm a wife and a mother with an incredible entrepreneurial spirit! And I've always just had a knack for gift giving! Now one of the things that makes my heart happy is helping others create unique personalized gifts for the ones they love!
I believe gift giving is a love language, and this is what instills the passion behind how we decide what we offer our customers. A personalized gift is like going the extra step! It says "I was thinking of you".
With the unbelievable support of my wonderful husband and amazing kids this business has continued to grow into where we are today! They really have cheered me on every step of the way! We are a home based business that started in 2015 as an online Etsy store (etsy.com/shop/thestitchbarn.com) as well as a small home shop, which is really an adorable boutique barn for locals to find one of a kind personalized items. In addition to the “barn boutique” and our Etsy shop we have created a new website (www.thestitchbarn.com). All of the things you will see in our shop are created using high quality machine embroidery created by me every time.
We strive to get your orders out as quickly as possible, Usually within three business days. If we are in our busy season, please allow an extra day or two.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
Because all of our items are personalized, we do not accept any returns or exchanges. Please double check sizing and that you put monogram letters in order of First, Last, Middle names. If you are unsure, please message us. We will be happy to walk you through the process to avoid any mistakes.
If you believe you have received an item that has an error or is damaged, please contact us with 3 days of receiving your package, and we will work together to get the problem fixed. If you made an error on your order, (letter order, size, etc. we offer to re-do the item at a discounted rate of 20% off).
If your item becomes defective within 60 days, please contact us with pictures, we will work with you to correct any problems.
Shipping
We primarily use USPS First Class and Priority mailing. Large orders may be shipped through Fed-Ex. In all cases, a tracking number will be sent to you. We do not require a signature to receive packages. At this time we do not ship internationally. We do strive to ship all orders on time, if we experience a delay we will reach out to you. We cannot guarantee a delivery day once the package has left our shop, if you have not received an item please reach out via Etsy messaging and we will do our best to help you locate the item.
Monogramming Integrity
On some bags it is necessary to partially close a slip pocket for monogramming purposes. If we are able to monogram the bag without changing the integrity of the bag such as closing any pockets, we definitely will.
Monogram Samples
All letters are not created equally in monogramming. While some letters may look great in a certain fonts, others may not. We are happy to provide a monogram sample for you, please just send us a message requesting which font you may like (please narrow down to two) and of course you monogram in the order you would like them to appear.
