Frequently asked questions
What power supply do I need to power my Fluorescence VFD Clock?
The clock uses a USB type C connector. A power adapter is not included, but any power adapter in combination with a USB type C cable that is able to deliver more than 2.1A will work with your Fluorescence clock.
How can I set time according to where I live?
Fluorescence comes with a coin cell battery and is pre-configured to your time zone. You will find the instructions on how to set time in the user manual, which is included in the purchase. You can also install FluorescenceApp and connect Fluorescence to your macOS or Windows computer to set time.
Does Fluorescence come with spare tubes?
There are no spare tubes or spare parts included. We ensure that every component is new with high quality. However, component issues are covered by a free repair & recycling program.
Care instructions
The VFD clock is designed for indoor use only at a dry place. Moisture or water may cause permanent damage to circuit components of the VFD clock. Do not expose it to high temperatures.
How do I change the real time clock battery of Fluorescence?
To keep time when Fluorescence is disconnected from a power source, it uses a CR2032/CR1220 battery. The lifetime of such a battery is limited to a few years. Once Fluorescence stops remembering time, the battery needs to be replaced. We will change the battery for you within the warranty time. Otherwise, remove the four bottom screws to access and replace the battery yourself.
