Dear Fashion Savvy Friends,

Thank you for supporting The Vintage Carol. The whole process of hunting for unique items and allowing it to shine bright again with a new owner brings me great joy. I am a cellist by day (and night) and play a cello that was made in 1928 in Mittenwald, Germany. I like to think of who might have owned the cello before me and who might play it long after I am gone. Similarly, I imagine vintage items as a link to the past that carries timeless beauty.

I established The Vintage Carol at the start of the pandemic as a means to keep my sanity. In addition to finding a fun outlet for my vintage clothing addiction, I simultaneously found myself with an extra bit of time on my hands to finish a music project that had been wandering in the creative process. The Vintage Carol made it possible to pay the contributors and produce a dream project, The Legend of Afro Geisha.

To celebrate the release of this project, please enjoy a hand selected vintage item with each purchase and be immersed in the legend of a girl on the path to finding her true purpose.
