Although they didn’t come in time for the shower (NOT the sellers fault, and she was a dream to deal with, so involved and helpful) I’m thrilled to use these for years to come. They are absolutely stunning!! I love everything about them, I love that they are sustainably made and I can’t wait to have company over in 2022 to fawn over these. Thank you so much!!!

5 out of 5 starsMy beautiful hand-dyed Gertie arrived today. :) I love the fact that TheWayOfTea's products are made of natural or reclaimed materials and dyed with natural dyes. Just what the Earth needs. <3 I needed Gertie to be quite a bit narrower and longer than the standard, and Libby happily obliged. She was also very understanding of some issues I had during the ordering process. Not only is she a great seller, she is one of the kindest people I've had the honour of speaking with.

Care instructions
The question I get asked most often about plant dyed textiles is ‘can I wash it’.The answer is yes. You can. But it needs to be done more gently and less often than your regular high street clothing. You wouldn’t wash your cashmere jumper in the machine would you? Natural dyes need to be treated much the same. Hand wash in cool water with a gentle soap. And wash as little as possible. Try to keep your garments out of direct sunlight when they’re being stored too.
Can I return or exchange if I’m not happy?
Of course! I want you to be happy. Unless something has been specifically commissioned, returns or exchanges are of course welcome. But not if they’re damaged. Buyer is responsible for packaging correctly so the work returns to me intact as I can’t refund damaged items. Just contact me within 14 days of receipt of purchase if you’d like to return/exchange.
