Where the photos generate?
Our company scans thousands of photographs every week from some of the most important newspaper archives around the world. After the clients receive a digital library of their files, the original gelatin silver prints are offered to collectors. Each photograph is unique and special as it will show the markings, stamps, annotations or captions used in the printed editions of newspapers and magazines decades ago.
Can I use the photo on a website?
No. All photographs are sold as collectables ONLY. All sales are based in The first sale doctrine, codified at 17 U.S.C. § 109. All the copyright belongs to the photographers, estates or representatives. Under NO EXCEPTION.
